Greetings to Parents, Students, and Staff of the MAST Community,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you all. My name is Ronald Singh and I will be a new math teacher at the Mathematics, Science Research, and Technology Magnet High School. I am honored to have this opportunity to work with all of the wonderful students and staff in the upcoming school year.
I graduated with my master’s in math education from St. John’s University. I am excited to use many theories in the classroom to assist in educating students to their highest potential. I previously worked at a high school in Brooklyn, and I am eager to bring the skills that I learned to the MAST community. When I am not in the classroom, I tend to enjoy hobbies such as singing and photography.
I believe that students should persevere with hard work and determination in order to reach their goals. High school is a time for students not only to learn but to become ready to take on the world. Being raised in Queens, I personally relate to our students’ high school experiences. As an educator, I intend to do my due diligence to aid students to follow their ambitions for a bright future.
Entering into the MAST community, I am excited to build connections with the parents, students, and staff members moving onward. I am delighted to be welcomed into the community.
