Are you interested in attending workshops devoted to help you strengthen your technology skills? At each session we will learn new ways that we can use the computer to communicate with school staff or support our children.
Are you a parent and/or guardian of a student enrolled in Mathematics, Science Research, and Technology Magnet HS? (only parents/guardians of students enrolled in Mathematics, Science Research, and Technology Magnet HS will be considered).
Are you interested in voluntarily participating in a four-session research study (2 hours per session, 8 hours total time commitment) aimed at exploring the impact of technology workshops on parents’ school-based engagement and self-efficacy?
The purpose of this research study is to explore the impact of technology
workshops on parents’ school-based engagement and self-efficacy. A goal of these workshops is to help you gain knowledge on using school-based computer software, understand more about how our students use social media, and support you in conducting online college and scholarship searches. You will be asked to complete brief surveys and engage in one focus group (which will be audio recorded).
Only 35 spots available! Please note, you must be able to attend all four sessions.
