Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Mode Review

by Sean Phirangee

It’s that time of year again! Another game in the Call of Duty franchise was released: the brand new Call of Duty Black Ops 4. This game strays from the path of a single player campaign and instead provides a brand new battle royale mode called Blackout. This is the only game mode I have been able to play so far, which is why I’m reviewing it. While I understand that everyone has a different experience, I’m one of those people who enjoy this game.

My experience playing Blackout was very exciting from the initial jumping out of a helicopter and parachuting into areas on the map. Blackout’s map includes classic areas from previous Call of Duty games from their multiplayer and zombie modes. It was satisfying to revisit these places with the refreshing new take of battle royale. If you don’t know what a battle royale is, it is a game mode where you attempt to survive by killing other players and looting their bodies or buildings and becoming the last player standing. In conclusion, this new game mode is a positive addition to the Call of Duty community, and I would recommend this game mode 10/10.
