Print Journalism (Period 6)

During the course of this class students will develop an understanding of the importance of journalism in a democratic society, understand what news is and learn the importance of accuracy in reporting, develop an understanding of ethics of journalism and the regulations governing the student press. Students will also have the opportunity to focus on alternative types of journalism: Blogs, video journalism and photo journalism.
