Teaching and learning are most effective in a safe and orderly environment. Inappropriate behavior will be addressed effectively and consistently using the below ladder of referral. Categories of inappropriate student behaviors are characterized by the position of the person responsible for immediate intervention. The categories are Teacher, Assistant Principal and Dean’s Office. Please see the Citywide Behavioral Expectations (link) for the Student Intervention and Discipline Code.
